Day 01 - Travel on N4 road towards Malelane (approx 400 km from Pretoria)
to the gate of the Bongani Mountain Lodge at the southern border of the Kruger National
Park. Guests leave their cars at the gate and transport is arranged to take the
guests with open safari vehicles - approx one-hour drive - to the lodge at 11:00
am and 14:00 pm, 18:00 pm. (At any other times, on request.)
After checking-in, guests rest for the remainder of the afternoon and enjoy the
tranquil peace after a long drive. The lodge is situated in the Mthethomusha Game
Reserve bordered by Kruger National Park - and the railway line - in a low-risk
malaria destination and due to the altitude of the Lodge, offers and unforgettable
mountain safari with breathtaking views of the surrounding.
There is fantastic game viewing and bird watching in the African bush. In the late
afternoon guests will go on a game drive to see the Big Five - lion, leopard, elephant,rhino
and buffalo - walk ancient paths once used by the San (Bushman) people. Over 250
San rock art paintings, estimated to be 1500 years old, and are found in the Reserve
- the greatest concentration of rock art per square meter on earth.
After the game-drive dinner will be served at the restaurant before retiring to
the rooms.

Day 02 - After breakfast guests can choose from the interesting programs,
which the Lodge offers:

visit a nearby swazi village and learn about their culture, traditions, songs, etc

go for a bush walk with an experienced game ranger,
-
visit the Bushman paintings;
Lunch will be served at the restaurant before the afternoon game drive starts. Late
afternoon return to the lodge for dinner and rest.

Day 03 - Program and overnight as the day before.
Day 04 - Around 10:30 am transfer to the gate of the Reserve to pick up the
car and travel to the KMIA airport in Nelspruit. 12:00-13:00 pm checking in for
the flight at 13:30 pm to Vilanculos situated on the mainland of Mozambique. ***
14:45 pm arrival and guests will be transferred by boat - approx 20 minutes - to
the Benquerua Island where guests will enjoy the next four days the beauty of an
unspoilt paradise.
There are four main islands belonging to the Bazaruto Archipelago, known as the
"Crown Jewels"of the Western Indian Ocean: Magaruque, Benguerua, Bazaruto and Santa
Carolina.
Benguerua is the glittering gem in this chain of islands, set amid translucent water,
flecked with khow sails, rich marine life and unspoilt paradise for those seeking
a haven of peace, something extraordinary.
The approach is flagrantly romantic; boats are gliding over a turquoise sea alive
with dolphins. The shallows spangled with starfish like an underwater sky. The beaches
are covered with white sands.
After arrival and checking-in guests will enjoy a light lunch and then relaxing
until dinner is served.

day, as well as teas and coffees, which are included in the price.

Day 06 - Program, overnight as the day before.
Day 07 After breakfast checking-out from the lodge and travel via boat back
to the airport in Vilanculos to the flight to Nelspruit or to Johannesburg. Flight
departs to KMIA - Nelspruit at 15:15 pm, to Johannesburg at 15:00 pm.
